noa1 was lost

Hello everyone. My fiance sent the k1 petition last May 05, 2009. He check his bank account and the check was encashed May 11. It's been 3 months and 3 weeks but we did not recieve the noa1 hard copy :crying: . We called uscis they said it's already sent last May. Our noa1 hard copy was lost but we dont know where . We ask our Application Receipt Number so we can check our case online but still error, it says case cannot be found at this time.

Do we need the noa1 hard copy on medical or interview? We request to resend the noa1 hard copy but uscis said it cannot be send again

Hopefully this will not happen on our noa2

The NOA1 becomes useless once you get your NOA2. Hopefully, your NOA1 will turn up somehow, but I wouldn't worry about it. I would, however, check that USCIS has your correct address.

oh it's just useless? thanks tina! we ask our mailing address and it's correct...

sort of useless because it's just an acknowledgment that they received your application. what's really important is your NOA2. still you should keep checking your case status online to make sure it doesn't say "case cannot be found at this time"
