She can absolutely use the stairs as long as she doesn't mind the time and effort she'll have to exert using it.

it's actually faster to get to the different floors using the stairs (only 4 floors if i remember right) it will save her time waiting for the elevator and provides for good exercise too!

Your friend is claustrophobic I guess. I have it too, you know, crampy space. But I like getting over the elevator phobia thing. It sulks, but cannot be avoided. She can take the stairs. No problem.

You have to wonder if she also has a fear of flying, a very real phobia for some folks. Imagine the disappointment, to go through the whole visa process, only to be afraid of getting on the flight to America. I suppose she could hitch a ride on a cargo ship.

ain't that offensive for your friend to be called "ignorant" behind her back? anyway, using stairs is a lot more quicker than using elevator and she won't smell unpleasant odors from others on her side.

elevator in st. lukes is nothing..actually it takes more time in elevator than using the stairs...

i was quite ignorant about the elevators too when i was in pi...how to operate it i didnt know...scary just to go to fifth floor since it was the last floor of the mall in davao...but when i got here in usa... we live in 21th floor so going down and up in the elevator is nothing already except when my imagination starts again...like what if theres a ghost inside the elevator standing behind your back...oohhh scary.
