My head is a poundin but im trying to relax so I can kick it bc I MUST go shop for my dads party. I have soooo much food pop and beer to buy. My twin sis is coming in town tonight with her new baby. i have only seen him once and he is now a month old so i CANT WAIT to plant some kisses on him :)

Kelly have a good time once you get the preparations finished.

Amal...do get better

Anita...some time by the pool sounds delightful...I was hoping for that this weekend..get it in before it's all done

they are calling for a less than suitable climate..most likely rain and cooler temps

today has been light light rain and clouds.

I just got word my little girl won't be coming over till later so I think hubby and I can squeeze in some alone time.

Laundry comes back into my mind too :ot:

i hope you all have a great weekend

Mine could be basking in the sun or at home doing things I keep putting off :(

Packet 3 Sent : 2009-08-04

Packet 4 Received : 2009-08-15

Interview Date : 2009-08-24 APPROVED with no AP

Visa Received : 2009-08-28

Entry into the USA : 2009-10-05 Insha Allah

That's amazing, 4 days from interview to visa, alhamdulillah!! :dance::dance:

I'm surprised you got it on a Friday though? I thought stuff was closed Fridays. Although maybe if it came from the embassy, they are open since the US weekend is Sat/Sun.

Anyways, congrats! :)

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Last Friday of August ???? hmmm... thats really a bummer - sooo not ready for summer to wind down. My husband has complete control of the household chores this weekend - inside & out - as i'm on crutches & in a knee brace (very bad sprain) soooo this should prove to be a very interesting weekend :o:whistle:

Congrats on the VISA! :dance: , Amal, feel better babes. xoxo, Stac, take me w/ u to Vegas plz!!! LOL :P, Nagi, happy Annivesary and many more! Maureen, Jeanne, Terrie, Tash, Charles (omg Kansas is the opposite of AZ for sure!), Lisa, Anita, Tamara, Maureen, Brini and anyone else I missed...have a wonderful weekend!!! (F)

Melly, send some brownies plz! they sound delicious....my hubby makes his famous chicken/potatoes/onion dish and it has cinnamon in the spices too! The dish bakes for hours so the chicken just falls apart in your mouth...yummy!!! We had it the first breakfast of Ramadan and will have it again this Monday night! :dance::P

I'm so burnt this week...I go all day with no sleep and then night I have been averaging about 3-4 hours of interupted sleep and its taking a toll on me. :blink: I thought I could rest this weekend but I have a ton to get done tonight plus hubby works till 1am and I need the car so I have pick him up then. :wacko: Then Saturday is full of DMV run, barber run, gym, nails(i'm NOT giving it up! lol), food shopping for surprise bday party at night, baking, cooking, babies, decorating for surprise party and I think by that time the party will be starting at our house. :unsure: OMG I feel exhausted reading that. SUNDAY I'm SLEEPING IN and NO ONE I mean NO ONE is going to bother Mommy or she's gonna snap! :P Okay, I feel better now that I have vented. :devil::innocent:
