Love that pic, GG !

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

Tomorrow is our 1st year anniversary. Where did the time go? We won't be celebrating much as, you guessed it, my husband has to work.

Everyone have a fantastic Friday and an even better weekend!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Good morning ladies and happy Friday!

Nice to see everyone smilin an happy today. :star:

I just finished getting some brownies in the oven. 4 more hours til we can break fast though. :clock: I haven't really been watching the clock yet during Ramadan but these brownies are sooo good! The cinnamon in them makes them so awesome. If you ladies haven't had cinnamon in your chocolate, you're missing out!

Anyways, enough about food.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day and start to the weekend.

Nagi, happy anniversary!!! :luv:

ok.. I asked in the Ramadan thread but I don't know hwo often it gets checked.... I have reeeeeeeally bad congestion in my chest and the phlegm family has moved in. I also have serious drainage goin on.... does this situation void my fasting due to the drainage and the constant coughing?? LIke, when I cough and the stuff won't come all the way out....so I have no choice but to swallow or suffocate..... I need the answer to this...

# The ruling of mucus and phlegm is that if one is able to spit it and take it out, it is obligatory to do so, but if it inadvertently reaches one's body cavity and one is unable to take it out, the fast is not thereby nullified.

Thanks! I was afraid of that. I can't handle this stuff going down my throat and clogging me up so I had to resort to drinking water to feel like I could breathe :crying:

Liv, I hope u feel better!!!

Gabs...Is it really cheaper to fly/drive to Seattle rather than fly to Houston??? I need to check in to that more for the next meet-up!

I feel cruddy today. Drainage, coughing, phlegm, that yucky smell when ur getting sick, YUCK!

Son started school this week (5th grade - new school - new district) and so far really likes it alhamdulillah!

Husband assumes that since he's got what I've got........that he's going to die and can therefore NOT do anything without his hand to his head or chest and a comment about how sick he is.... I haven't said a word at home. I said last night finally...yeah it sucks doesn't it... u gave it to me and I've had it for a week and now you've got it again.. I bet we both feel the same way.....
