Why are you worried about a 2003 DUI, if it happened before you got your 2 year GC and then received your 2 year GC?

Did you just get a ticket and pay the fine? Did you go to court and put in jail? What were the circumstances?

This may help others answer your concerns. Good luck.

I would just do a Google search for an immigration attorney in VA or in your city.

Well it was in 2003 and I got my GC at the end of 2004, so I will be eligible in for N400 at the end of 2009, it was a suspended sentence and they gave me 2 week ends in the local detention center(Learn't my lesson in lawyers in America). I don't have any other issue, not even a speeding ticket for the 5 years of GC but this year I took a cab to a local restaurant celebrating and I had a bad reaction to some wine and while waiting for cab(telephone records for to and from the restaurant) in an empty parking lot got spotted and taken to a detoxification center(should have been taken to a hospital), got a drunk in public and $25.00 fine which I made a mistake of paying since the officer told be I don't need to come to court and can pay it online, and I had no idea this will be considered a moral issue. Well I consider my self an honest, moral, god fearing and for a lack of a better word a patriot, little did I know that after 8 years calling this home, I can be declared immoral for a $25 fine. Right now I am very confused as I have wanted to be a Citizen more than any thing. Never thought will need a lawyer to prove my morality but I guess made a mistake of forgetting that after so many years I still am an alien.
