Hello everyone!

How did you deal with the vaccination requirements? Did you go to a clinic here in Cebu or had it in St. Luke’s? What kind of vaccinations (mumps, flu, etc.) did you get and specifically where?

Detailed responses will be highly appreciated.

My girl is from Cebu and she got her's at St. Lukes in Manila. They told her she needed 4 but when she asked what they were for she found out that one was for chicken pox. She already had that one as a kid, apparently the nurse was speaking in Tagalog so fast that my girl couldn't really understand when the nurse asked about the chicken pox vaccine.

After telling them she already had that one, and showing them the scar, they went ahead and gave her 3 shots. She told me what they were for but i forgot.

All 3 were included in the medical fee.

She had sore arms for about a day but that was it.

during the medical exam at st. luke's, the doc would be asking what vaccines have been administered to you in the past then she will determine what vaccines you will need. if she has chicken pox scars or vaccine scar, your fiancee will have to show that to the doc. the vaccine fees are included in the medical exam fee but she will have the option to have her shots there or here in the US. i suggest she takes them there if she has the time since the shots here are very pricey. i have to take 1 more shot here for tdap due to lack of time and it costs 64usd.
