Aww, poor, poor MAST!

But Trailmix? Lovely job of reconnaissance, I must say... thanks for that! Since you're so good at this, can you call Operator 5 and say, Hey, where's LGG in that queue??? Thanks somuchIkid....

Thanks...

:)

MAST is no more

(I asked if the priority date had anything at all to do with when interviews are scheduled)

Montreal, IV to me

show details 3:18 PM (8 hours ago)

No it does not. Appointments are scheduled once the file is complete (receipt of the DS-230 and document checklist) then it goes in queue and a date is assigned based on when the file was complete. Then it also depends on the volume of cases to schedule and the applicant’s place in queue.

Regards,

Operator 5

Trailmix, unless I got that wrong....aren't there instances where some cases completed earlier are still waiting for an interview while cases that were completed later got their appointments dates way before them? ...I mean if that was really the way they schedule, it would be very str8 forward...

and of course, it was not my original idea and creative thinking that brought priority date into the picture...I was told so by a supervisor at NVC...whom to believe? so confuzzled...LOL

and, let's not talk about MAST's premature death ;) revolutionary theories usually take a while to settle in with society as they are controversial and upset the social order :)
