Okay, I am going to try to post pics for the 1st time- I have been as confused and frustrated as Sandrila.

I have two wonderful kids who are growing up so fast. Kurt-who is 17 and is a senior in high school; has his own band and wants to own a recording studio one day and Madeline who is 10 and going to 6th grade. She loves animals and wants to be a animal trainer one day.

Astarte- Kurt started playing violin in the middle school orchestra and from there he has branched out into many different instruments. He plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, drums, keyboards.. He absolutely loves it. He writes his own music and records in the basement. My basement is literally a recording studio now!

I am glad your son has found something he loves! Music does wonders for self-esteem and creativity.

ah. the longing....

My son loves animals too! He will be a junior this year and wants to do something with animals in his career ( vet, zoo, etc.)

My daughter loves music, she played the clarinet for two years and decided no longer wants to play it and wanted to start playing the keyboard. I have a basic keyboard for her right now and she's always playing it, the bad thing is, most song she only knows are x-mas songs, so i am fortunate to be listening to jingle bells all summer long...lol but to give her credit, she does know how to play my heart will go on by Celine Dion

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
