can someone give more a better example than the one given by the instruciton letter? What should it contain and how do i give evidence to support it? I will be using my father and my uncle. Thanks.

i dont think u r on the same page . affidavit of support is the form which submit to immigration with w2 or transcripts of ur irs for the last three years that u make more than poverty line, it does not have to notorized, more people will direct u better here in vj, abby n sheryl

Go above and click on Example Forms. There they have 2 examples of Affidavits. You don't give evidence to support the affidavit. You father and uncle will write the affidavit to say how happy a couple you are and what a great marriage you have, etc.

You may want to check and see what others have sent in with their I-751. You can go back 10 to 20 pages and open the posts that are appropriate. There is a wealth of information on here. I bet you will find things that you have not thought about.

S ans L..... are you talking about the affadavits to say your marriage is bonafide??

We sent a letter from our bank manager, and one from the lady we adopted our dog from, who had remained a friend...

We had them both witnessed and notarised.

You want to have someone outside of your family write one also. You don't supply any evidence for these letters. The perosn signing them is swearing that they are telling the truth.

You give evidence to support your claim that you have a true, legitimate marriage. Use the examples in the I-751 instructions as well as the guide here on VJ when selecting what you will send.
