Co sponsor (like the sponsor) must submit all supporting documents (such as most recent year's IRS tax return and W-2s, 1099's etc). The same things a sponsor would need. 3 years worth of returns (and supporting documents) is optional - if you/they feel it will help.

Does it have to be a transcript or can you just submit a copy of your completed and signed form along with your w2s?

Its copies of the forms that she submits to the IRS including documentation (w-2's, 1099's etc...). The easiest thing to do is call the IRS at 18008291040 and get copies of her "tax transcripts" then that is all you will have to provide no need for w-2's or 1099's.

Good Luck

So you have answered my question - it could be either the copies you have of what you sent to the IRS including the w2 or the IRS transcript. Thank you.

Can be either one - if a transcript, then there is no need for supporting documents (W-2's, 1099's etc). If copy of tax return, must attach all supporting documents originally sent with the return to the IRS (i.e., W-2's, 1099's etc). Either one, your choice.
