I can't wait to hear the good news!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

OMG my heart is racing! He came online just before 5am.

He arrived at the Embassy at 7:10 am. Saw they were already lined up and going inside. He told the guy he is having an interview and then was requested to show his letter. They wrote a code on top and said go directly to the guy at the door. They let him in and he was #15. They were 22 for immigrant visas and 170 for non-immigrant visas.

They checked his bag of evidence at the entrance and let him inside. There were two guys on a desk they asked while I was standing in the line if there is anyone for immigrant visa interview and he said I am and he asked him to step forward and gave him a number and let him in. He said he waited for an hour and then they called his number and he got the Egyptian girl and she was so arrogant. She is a secretary but thinks she is an Ambassador. Her rule is to check his papers before the finger print scan. She asked for his 5X5 pictures for the visa and he explained he already sent the two by DHL. She checked and found one stapled that she missed. Then she gave him the 1040 form back. She asked for the originals for the I-864's and took only my Mom's since she's joint sponsoring. He honestly forgot the originals. She said ok then it is a decision for the counselor. She asked for the wedding pictures and he gave them to her. She started to look at them and asked him how we met. So he asked, "Sorry am I having my interview?" She told him no. Then he asked, "May I know who I am talking to?" She said her position and she was to prepare him for his interview. So he asked her if her job was to look at his pictures and where and when he met his wife and she went silent. Then she asked him to go back and wait for his finger prints to be scanned. In between that time he went and paid DHL. Then he waited 2 more hours. Then the American employee called his number. Then at the desk she asked him to go back and wait a few more minutes and then he was called again after 10 minutes. He said she looked like she was from India. She went back in the back for 30 minutes and came back and scanned his fingers. Finally it was time for his interview and he got the female African American. Said she didn't look more than 25. She asked for his DHL receipt then gave back his original military certificate and birth certificate that he had given the Egyptian girl. Then it was like chitchat, very friendly.

She asked very few questions.

How long have we been married?

What do you do for a living?

Where did we meet?

When was the last time I was there?

When did I leave?

Where did we live and where was he working?

Then she said ok congratulations! Your visa has been approved and we would send your passport to you with your visa to the address you left at DHL. He told her that the Egyptian girl said that she might like to take a look at the emails list from me to him and our SMS's and so forth. That he had the whole thing printed off and she said no need I believe you. That he'd get his visa in 2-3 weeks with no AP!
