Good morning and happy Friday!

We are to have some rain for the next week...but we have a slight prob...no clouds! I

think our weather person has had toooo much sun. Oh well, it's still exciting to even

think of having some moisture!!

Hope everyone has a great day. Looking forward to the weekend!

Thank you both , Tamara and Dorothy. You know you two are loved by me and so I just wanted to say that.

This Sunday I am being blessed by God cos he answered my prayers . He always provides me with what I need, so I will be getting an all German bloodline Shepherd, 2 year old male for free. The dog will require socialization and training which I have the time and experience to do.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Morning

I will also be getting us dates this weekend.

I can get some good ones in the city, probably tonight.

I am not Muslim and I am seriously on the horse about fasting this year.

I know since it is hubby's first time observing Ramadan here, I think it will be alot harder for him since most people around and out in the streets are not fasting, drinking and smoking and stores/restaurants and bars are not closed down during the day till Iftar....I would say it is going to be alot different for him. Temptation will be everywhere.

Not to say he will break his fast but just that everything, as usual here in the USA, will be in his face.

Hubby requested Sunday off so we are looking forward to that and spending the day at the pool.

I am hoping it doesn't rain this weekend, I do see it in the forecast

I hope today goes fast

Same here. I also am not Muslim, but will be attempting to fast with my hubby as it is his first Ramadan away from his family & here in the US. I will be at work most of the fasting time, but I want to at least be doing it with him and break the fast together. Here we go.... :)

Hola MENA peeps - lots of love to you all.

Awww, Sister Nagi - I'm so happy for you. I hope you have a wonderful time training him. May he delight your soul! :star:

Ladies, I would like to ask for a small favor - keep my hubby in your prayers. He has a job (and I'm grateful for that) but he's terribly frustrated and I have been praying that God opens some doors to a better job for him.

Thanks!

Happy Friday MENA! I am getting to leave work for the day and drive up to see my brother. Today is his birthday and he is in a Hope Lodge receiving chemotherapy for leukemia. All of my family is coming from different places to be with him today. It'll be great to have everyone together for him! Have a great Friday!

Question. Why in arabic songs sung by men - they always sing about "habibi"? Wouldn't that make them ghey?

I've always wondered that too...I asked my husband a while back and he tried to explain but I didn't have a clue as to what he was trying to say. Lol.

I was right, the downsizing continued today :(

Last week it was Kim and Nancy, and today at the weekly meeting they announced that yesterday they let Margie go :crying: When they said that, I got like 2 little tears slipping down my cheek. This is getting VERY scary and I thank God every time I avoid a cut. Can't cut me,,I'm sales. I bring IN the money. If I get cut, they will be locking the doors. Sad, I say, just sad to watch an 18 -year employee get let go. I pray this recession turns soon.

Have a good day.

lal~ ghey (that made me lol)

A guy singing about a girl and saying or calling her habibi (my love). I guess it's like the songs here they always say baby or girl or my girl, etc.
