Spelling error

I had a spelling error on my apps here. I misspelled my fiance's middle name. I called the embassy and had it fixed and just confirmed that it's fixed. For other people who have had a spelling error corrected do they want the NBI and CENOMAR in the mis spelled name too? I wouldn't imagine that would make any sense but I'm curious if anyone had any experience with this in the interview.

Do they ask about the spelling correction? Should she be prepared for anything different? I messed up I misspelled her middle name because I didn't read it right, they say it's fixed is there any concern in that area now? Thanks for anyone with experience in passing the interview with a spelling correction done.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

good thing you fixed it right away...no they will not ask for docs with the misspelled name, on the contrary the docs will probably be their basis for checking if the right spelling you called about is exactly the same as the lega documents you submitted.

i had the same experience and the correction was also done over the phone, and don't worry because you will always have the opportunity to correct any other mistakes in spellings even up to the visa part. but i hope the mistake doesn't reach that part.

good luck and god bless!
