I have been wondering for the last couple of days...is it fair to say that once you have gotten your biometrics appointment for the removal of conditions USCIS has already looked through your HUGE stack of evidence you have sent them and the next step is just to wait for your green card in the mail? If anyone knows please let me know

I don't think anyone has looked at your file at this point. There are certain things that are automatic when you send in your case. Is it timely? No, then they return your case. If Yes. Then someone will send you the NOA for the one year extension. Next, someone will send you the letter for the biometrics appointment. When that is completed, someone will probably put that with the case and then it goes on a shelf or drawer until an immigration specialist reviews your file. That part is what takes so long. If not all right, then you get an RFE. If it is all right, then they approve your case and send you a letter of approval and order your 10 year GC.

No one knows for sure, but that is the way it looks to me. Good luck.

Yeah you just wait for a notice of interview or the GC!!! :unsure:

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Agreed with John24689. :yes::thumbs: The case will sit and wait for its turn to be adjudicated, that is what all the waiting is about! Biometrics is only one of the first steps in the process, no one has looked thoroughly at the case then. :no:
