From what i have read, you can go ahead a do you med exam with just a copy of your noa2?Is this correct?

Some people say you need your appointment letter,and some say you just need a copy of your noa2 and your case number?

Can i please have some of you guys personal experiences.I plan on flying to see my girl in sept and bring her a copy of the noa2 and before i leave have her fly to manila,and the day i leave she can go do her med exam.

Shirr waited until I called Manila to set up an interview. Our paperwork arrive there about 10 days after NVC received it. Manila took about 10 days to get everything entered into their computer systems.

In all about 2 weeks total or so...

I think St Lukes will want to see the interview letter before they allow her to enter but it might all depepnd on how busy they are on any given day...

i spoke to the slec guard himself and he said as long as you have the case number, he will allow you in and you can do the medical. good luck.

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

Timeline

I tripped out on this subject for awhile.

My girl JUST finished her medical yesterday. The guard at the door wanted her NVC letter with the MNL case number, and the lady inside the clinic wanted her "appointment letter" from embassy.

It's basically your call on whether you wanna risk your girl going down there with not enough documentation.
