USC Married 4/2007 Colombian on overstay since 2001 of B1/B2 visa
Applied 5/2007 Approved GC in Hand 10/2007
I-751 mailed 6/30/09 aapproved 11/7/09 The BOYS I-751 Mailed 12/29/09 3/23/10 Email approval for 17 CR 3/27/10
4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Hi lgg,

I just spoke with a gentleman - a really nice person at NVC.

While on the phone, We went thru' the entire process - from now to Interview.

He told me the following - hope it helps you.

NVC, depending on # of interview cases handled by a given consulate, assigns interview date mid-month.

So, on 15th date of a every month (unless it is weekend), NVC assigns visa interview date for the following month.

for example, on August 17 (monday after 15th), NVC assigns visa date for all of September month for a given consulate.

As far as the AVR, it does not update the visa interview date.

After case is completed at NVC, all it says (final message) is this: "The NVC has completed the case and forwarded it ot he Embassy or Consulte in.........."

The gentleman told me to call around 20th of a given month, to find out visa interview date for the following month.

The NVC staff - reviewing your completed case profile on their computer will be able to tell you the exact date of interview and the date your file was sent to the foregin consulate/embassy.

THat really sucks. I don't believe god is dead either -- I'm not sure where he/she/it is and what she/he/its been up to... you know?

4 months? Really? FFS.

That is longer than it took for out I130 to be approved.

I really need some glitter now.

mmmm I love u God ! I see it like this God only makes and takes us What happens in are lifes is all b/c of Humans just like u right now saying u hate God Im sure God did not make u say that so your case taking forever is not him its the people working on it!!! Oh inless God gives u life dieing cancer then that would make the visa faster.

12/28/2007-- Married in mexico

02/2/2009- Sent out I-130

02/06/2009-Noa1

04/27/2009-Noa2 Approved :)

05/02/2009-noa2 Hardcopy in the mail :)

05/18/09- Nvc case number and Ds-3032 also paid Aos bill

06/16/2009- paid IV bill

07/20/2009- sent out Aos ( yea I paid everything now im sending it. I was out of town with my hubby for 2months Thank God they let us pay online now only if we could send everything else online lol )

07/30/2009- Sent out DS-230

08/12/2009- Case Complete with NVC

09/01/2009- Visa interview has been scheduled for 10/05/2009. Letter by email.
