Hi,

I am filing my I-751 and was wondering how many months of Bank statements will I have to send?

The following are what I am planning for. Will this suffice:

• Copy of my permanent resident card

• Two 2’X2’ photographs

• Tax return transcript for 2008, 2007 and 2006 received from IRS showing joint tax filing

• Health insurance benefits confirmation from my company showing joint policy

• Copies of health insurance statements showing transactions from both of us - 6 MONTHS

• Copy of our car sales contract showing joint ownership

• Copy of car registration showing joint ownership

• Copies of car insurance showing a joint policy

• Copy of bank statements showing our joint accounts - 6 MONTHS

• Copy of lease agreements showing joint lease

• Copy of vacation timeshare showing joint ownership

• Photos from our vacations, reunions with friends and family visits

• Copies of our airline reservations for vacations that we have planned in November and December of 2008

Thanks

What we did was send in different dates that spanned through the marriage; of both the bank statements, the utilities, etc.

That's good. Even one statement shows you have a joint account. For the AOS for my wife and for our son (K-2 to follow) I got a bank letter which stated the date I opened the account and the date my wife was added to the account. A letter such as that, plus the most recent statement would show the span of time of the joint account.

Rajaram,

just to give you a opinion,

I put 2 copies for each year 2007-2008-2009, so it was like 6 bank statements, 6 electricity bills,6 cable bills etc.

You can also add copy of your and spouse's drivers licence or state ID's showing same residence address..

good luck

I put in one statement and bill etc from each quarter (4Q06 through to 2Q08), then added extras such as house purchase papers, insurance, wills, affidavits etc.

Maybe the form has changed since I did RoC but you may not need the 2x2 photos (you can certainly include photos of you both as a couple on different occasions) they'll take the pic for your 10 year GC during your biometrics...

AOS: ND - June 5 2006 | RFE - June 15 2006 | FP Notice - June 30 (Rescheduled to Sept 16) | AP ND - August 14 2006| Walk-in FP - Sept 5 (FP cleared next day!) | Interview - Sept 8 2006 (Approved!) | Welcome Letter - Sept 13 | EAD received - Sept 19 (kinda moot since I'm waiting for GC) | GC received - Sept 23 2006 - Woohoo!!

I-751: 06/10/08 Mailed package to VSC direct (per memo instructions) not TSC. The wait begins... | 06/11/08 Package received at VSC (12.12pm) | 06/19/08 Check cashed | 06/20/08 Received NOA1 in the mail - ND is 06/17/08 | 07/10/08 Received Biometrics Appt Letter - ND is 7/7/08 | 07/22/08 Biometrics (had to do ink & paper also...) | 07/22/08 Touched | 07/23/08 Touched | 02/11/09 Transferred to CSC (got email)... | 02/12/09 Touched | 02/20/09 Touched (but no email) | 03/24/09 Approval letter arrives in the mail! Approval date is 3/18/09 from VSC | 04/03/09 Received card, postmarked 3/31 from CSC

N-400: 06/11/09 Mailed to Lewisville Lockbox | 06/12/09 Package received at Lockbox and signed for at 1.31pm | 06/18/09 Check Cashed | 06/19/09 NOA, PD 06/12/09 | 07/06/09 Biometrics letter received, ND is 07/02/09 | 07/24/09 Biometrics appointment | 08/06/09 IL received, ND 08/03/09 | Interview 09/14/09 at 9.30am (approved!) | Oath 10/21/09 | USC

What a timely topic. I'm also preparing our evidence.....and I have 3 giant envelopes full of bills, pictures, and other evidence.

I know, I know. I won't send in all 3 envelopes -- I'm not that much of a heartless #######.... I'm just the perfect amount!

Thank you everyone that answered as it will help me weed through my items as I find the gems needed for ROC!
