hi everybody, to the people who had a same experienced with me i kindly need your advice regarding my problems.. i need to file a removel of condition of my greencard on june 2010, my problem is me and my husband is living separately since march 2009 and i don't know if we could be togather before i file my paper works, i don't have any proof like income tax return, insurance, bills or anything that would prove that immigration wants us to submit. the only thing i have is the bank account that we opened but i am the only one who is using it because he did not deposit his paycheck on that account when he was working. we got separate because of having hard time to go along with each other, one more thing is he doesn't wanna work since we got married. do i really need a lawyer when i file the removal of my conditional greencard alone? what would be the best reason when i file not with my husband? my husband is very incapable, he doesn't wanna work dispite of his bills, he just depend to his mom. pls help me.. thank you..

Thanks for that background K&O

Seems to me the OP is out of luck.

Back then we all told her to contact Catholic Charities; and she chose to do nothing. Damnit.

Sounds like you don't have a valid bonafide marriage anymore or never did have. Either you get back together and show you guys are a team or figure on returning to your home country.

Sorry to say this, per USCIS perspective, U come here for the wrong reason, the only reason u r here is because (USCIS) allows u to establish the existence of a relationship to certain

alien relatives who wish to immigrate to the United States. and allowing you two to be together as one, and now since u guys are not compatible, there is no reason for USCIS to issue a green card to u, u are no long relate to him or any relationship. i have seen in the past that couples did not stay together and expected a green card, chances are is zero, if u go to the interview and tell them that he doesn't wanna work dispite of his bills, he just depend on his mom. they will tell u that u should of known before u came to america. if u don't have any thing below (proof like income tax return, insurance, bills, rent, mortgage, anything at all with 2 names together, obviously USCIS knows that the only thing that is real is marriage license or joint bank account, I was working at the chula vista office (USCIS) in california, when we interview one lady, the exactly same scenario as u r, and all the info already investigate prior u go to the interview, she end up has 10 days to withdraw her paper work or get arrest for immigration fraud and go to jail then deport back to her country, u really need to work it out with yr man or else be prepare they will look at u as immigration fraud. good luck.
