I just called NVC to update my beneficiary's address. Lady I spoke to stated we will send out an email to you once we process your case. I thought they only send out hard copies via US MAIL. Did anyone got such a email from NVC? If answer is yes what does it include? :dance:

Well, yes, that and the date they completed their part of the processing. They only send an email when they HAVE and email address. Otherwise only hard copy.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

The NVC does not send out anything that confirms that your case has actually been sent on to the foreign consulate. Everyone gets a letter with their case number and a statement that it will be sent on within two weeks but that is not necessarily true. Some get stuck at NVC for "additional processing". They promised me every time I called to check status that they would notify me when it was sent on but they never did.
