Hi guys.

We went to Costco yesterday to get the photos taken for NVC, however, they don't do American standard size. Where did you guys get yours done?

Wal-mart will do them to your specifications but you'll pay over twice as much. The costco ones are two inches wide you will just need to take a bit off the top and bottom to make them two inches in height as well.

Same. I always get them at Walgreens, its nice and cheap.

I know walmart can do them, they actually asked me what country I needed them for when I was putting the I-129F together. It confused me a little!

Interesting, we don't even have photo places at our Zellers or Shoppers here.

Walgreen's messed up the sizing for my Husband's Australian passport 4 times.

 oh boy! I guess theres a reason its only $7.99 for a set. Mine came out really crappy but they met the requirements so thats good enough for me.

Shoppers Drug Mart...

but if you are a good technical person and can navigate computers well, Google has a photo application called Picasa. They have an application feature that's called 'passport photo' it centres and crops per country specification. As long as your lighting is good, you can take the photo yourself, and print yourself....and save about $50!

My husband used the app to take his own photos and they were accepted for his US passport.

There are many applications on the web that offer this feature...just google it...if you're like me, you'll pay the money to get them done lol
