I never thought I would actual stay in a relationship after something like this but after I PRAYED I am trying my best to forgive him. Not exactly sure if it is going to work or not but only time will tell.

Angie it's hard and I'm sorry. When I found out my husband was cheating on me I had just had my second baby and my first was only one year old. I felt lower than I ever had in my whole life. My body was a mess after having two pregnancies in a row and this news just made me dive deep down into self-loathing. The only thing that helped was when one of my big sisters nudged me to look at the reality of how things were instead of the fantasy of what I thought it was. Love is blind and I wasn't seeing a LOT of things.

I tried to stay because I was a pretty strict Catholic at the time and my parents were pressuring me to stay with him for the sake of the children. I would go to bed everynight and have this gnawing at my gut feeling. I ended up sleeping more comfortably on the couch since there were no expectations there. Finally God heard my prayers and he left on his own without me kicking him out. I know it sounds stupid but that way I didn't feel guilty and it was the first time in a while I felt free of disappointment. No more waiting for him to come home wondering where he was or who he was with.

I hope God gives you the strength to go on whatever path you choose and surrounds you with supportive and loving people to get you through this.

Happy Caturday. :) My husband came home from work last night and I swear he was laughing so hard for so long when he told me that some lady ordered "Sex on the Beach". He was all like, SEX....she said SEX to me!!!!:rofl::rofl: on the BEACH!!!! in PUBLIC!!!!:rofl::rofl: He did say the second time around she asked him for "another one of these" instead of saying the name. OMG it was so funny to watch him tell the story. :energy:

We went shopping today (gotta love the fact that mah man loves the mall!:dance: ) and got his sisters some really nice shirts and skirts and some gell packs that you put in the freezer along with huge bottles of tylenol and advil. By the time he's done getting them things I don't think he's going to have room for his own stuff in his bags!!!

Thank everyone for there prayers and well wishes.

I am coming along great after my bypass and have lost 35 lbs and I am looking good and feeling great. Whatever is to happen will happen and I know that I am gaining self esteem so I won't fall into low self esteem or self worth. I feel that God is doing for me what I was not sure I could do and that is forgive. I wanted to say on this site since this is where I got the guidence I needed from here to get through this process and now that he has his 10 yr gg he is free to go if he choses. I thought I had a great relationship and really never had any problems before this and didn't want to not be honest with everyone so that I can put it behind me.

Where I go from here is 1st my faith 2nd myself and then my family. I can only be the best me I can be and take it one day at a time. I have to keep a postive outlook on life and stay focused on my goals and dreams so they can come true.

Angie, so sorry to hear what you are going through. It's good to see that you are handling this delicate matter in a positive way and that you are not letting yourself fall through the cracks. It will take one day at a time and wish whichever path you take will be the one that is right for you. I can't even imagine what you're feeling right now but my prayers are with you and if you need anything, i'm just a pm away (F) take care

Angie, I have no words but just want to say that if you need to talk, I am but a PM away.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My crazy aunt just called my grandma to ask her what Ahmed's last name is, so she can google it to make sure he's not a terrorist. You know, as if the US government hasn't already conducted more thorough investigation than a google search.  :bonk:
