Just thinking ahead here . . .

No interview date as yet but thanks to you guys I know my wife will need an Xpresspost envelope. I was wondering if that needed a signature on it or not? I know it's an option with that service, but didn't know if it was required. Would hate to purchase something unnecessary!! Also, how long will it take for them to mail it all back? We were thinking of a detour to Ottawa on the way back from Montreal, but don't want to miss the Xpresspost envelope . . .

Can take a couple of days to arrive up to 2 weeks.

I don't think we did a signature one - so no, it isn't necessary - however, since you are going to be away for a few days you may want to consider it.

Just be forewarned that Canada Post sucks! There have been people who have purchased the signature confirmation and it was left on their doorstep instead, even ripped open!

The paper i got from MTL embassy said you have to have signature on delivery on the envelope, the guy even looked for it when he looked at my envelope and said good you followed the instructions. But yea the canadapost never collected signature and destroyed my package and i want to kill someone for it !! lol but i have the visa and everything thank goodness.
