Medical and "time of the month"

First of all I really don't like talking about this topic but I am curious. My girl is planning on going to do her medical next week. She's says she'll probably start her period next week too. Is this a problem? I am told girls get exams during this time all the time but I read one post on here that says to make sure she's not on her monthly visitor.

I know nothing about this. Any help? Can a girl do the medical if she's on her period?

I think that you'll find almost every girl here will tell you that they would have your fiance reschedule if she's on her period. Maybe she'll get lucky. Good luck.

it is actually convinient to have the medical without her period. but it also ok to have it during her period.

My wife went there during her period, she was just asked to return after her period.

There's alot of period in this.. hahaha

^That seems to be a contradiction up there.

Anyway, I have always heard that a period will screw up the medical exam process.....hey GD21, when is your girl planning on the medical? Mine's going on Wed. the 19th.

Medical at ST Luke Extension Clinic is on first come...first serve basis...there is no appointment required there.

Most posts says is better go there on afternoon.....

Maybe getting confused with Embassy Interview, that is where appointment is required....

and Yes she waited until the monthly stuff was over....because it could be a little embarrassing since she has to dis-robe in front of the doctor...for visit.

they wont allow her to do the medical exam if she has her period, i would assume this would be yucky during the physical when she has to disrobe and lay on her back while the doc checks her body

My wife just went through this! It started for her the morning she left to Manila for the medical exam. They did the x-ray and some stuff then told her to return in a week for the physical exam and the shots. That was 8/12 and all is well.

To save a trip you may want to wait!

That's all I need to hear. We may need to do it a week before her interview then instead of two weeks. We should be cool with that, right?

yup thats fine, just let her do the medical a week before her interview. good luck.
