hi all

i got mail today from american embassy at cairo and was asked for ( amovement certifcate ) and i really dont know wht's this so please if any one here was filling with the american embassy at cairo and was asked for the same document please i want to know how can i get this paper and where should i go and how long it take becouse this is the first time i hear about this paper .

salam alikom,hope all is fine with you,i will tell you what is a movement certificate according to my information

it is(shehadet 7araka) u can get it from (gawazaat) go and ask them for it,i think they will sign for you on a piece of paper to tell that you were in egypt during years(xx) till(XX) for instance and to show any travels before,iam telling you that cos my mother has been to germany,france more than 15 years ago,and she did this thing from 2 years while applying for (omra) but what i remember is that this certificate is including sth like last 10 years and it's a routine work at (gawazaat) that's what i know about movement certificate,so you better email and ask them again where can u get it,or google how can i get(shehadet 7araka) or go directly to gawazat

as i know you can get it from mogama3 el ta7rer , and it's a papers show's how many times you traveled out of egypt and for how long. so it should contain the date of departure and the date of arrival for everytime you travel

it's not a big issue and you can get it easily so take it easy and go get it
