Passport style photo

I have a couple of questions regarding the passport style photo.

1) Doe both the petitioner (US) and beneficiary (Korea) have to have 2 in x 2 in photos? We got our pictures taken in Korea and the dimensions seem like they are 35 mm x 45 mm.

2) Can my wife scan her picture and then send it to me?

3) Can we take our 35 mm x 45 mm picture to a photographer and alter it to a 2 in x 2 in photo?

4) Any other suggestions regarding this matter?

Thanks so much!

Both the petitioner and the beneficiary need to have 2 x 2 photos. I had the same issue, that my husband's photos were not the correct size. I scanned the photo in, took it to Ritz Camera and had the photos printed off as 2 x 2.

Best of luck!

what i know,, is there are some places that make ur photo like the passport style,, let ur wife ask for many copies so she can send to you!!

and scanning them might make the photo not look as well!! so let her take pics and send u some with fedex or ups.. thats better!

good luck

I used this method:

1) I had someone take a full face photo of me with a white background,

leaving plenty of space around me.

2) Photoshop - cropped it to 2x2 according to US specifications.

3) Created a new file in the dimensions 4x6 and pasted 6 copies of

the 2x2 pic into that space (using grid so that they would be straight).

4) Took to CVS and printed it out for 25 cents.
