St. Lukes question...

OK, we got the hard copy from NVC with the case number that starts with MNL. Can my fiancee do her medical now or does she have to wait for the USEM to get our case? If she can do the medical already, what does she need to bring? Copies or originals of what? Is it first come, first serve at St. Lukes, or does she need to call and make an appointment?

Any info at this point is appreciated!

^ So not the original NOA2? Just a copy? And why Tuesday afternoon? Why not Tuesday morning?...or any morning for that matter? Shouldn't she get there early as possible? What time do they open? Thanks.

Scanned copy is ok. Anytime is fine but I went there very early, no hassles at all, finished very early too.

^Thanks. Now what about the NVC letter with the MNL? Does she need a copy of that, or just know the number? And is St. Lukes open 24/7?

maybe you should wait for when she can schedule for the interview, some posts ive read had some people saying it's good to have the medical about 2 weeks prior the interview but probably not a month before that :)

Did you, the petitioner, get the letter from NVC? My fiance hasnt received ours, he said they(his dad) just received the NOA2 :) did you call in the embassy yet? I havent called them up I called the Department of state instead and they told me the embassy had received our case

I just got the NVC hard-copy today with the MNL number. I assume the case is on it's way to Manila at this time. I have read that getting the medical done ASAP is wise so that if there are any questions regarding it there is still time to work it out before the interview date.

Which raises a new question....

How much time can elapse between the medical and interview? Is there a cut-off date to make the medical void?

on the posts ive read, it shouldnt be more than a month, otherwise they might let her do it again, so best wait for the interview date then adjust the medical exam through that
