Hi Everyone,

To those of you who are interested.....(and remember me from the I-751 boards here on VJ)

At last, my baby boy is here!

Here is the brief update about my baby:

Baby's Name: Aaron David

Date of Birth: July 30, 2009

Time of Birth: 4:15pm (16:15)

Weight: 8 pounds 8 ounces

Length: 20 and 1/2 inches

See my signature below too, for a photo of Aaron, taken during his arrival home from the hospital...

Funny how it takes...

285 days/9 months for my baby...And so the baby wins!... :innocent:

291 days/10 months for my 10year green card.....

How long will it take for my upcoming Citizenship application?

Another baby on the way before then perhaps? (just kidding)....

Meanwhile:

1) I continue making out the paperwork and gathering the evidence for the N-400, hopefully am able to file on August 18th, or not too long after that

2) Wait for my son's birth certificate in the mail (have to get that first before I file). How much longer will it take?

3) Wait for confirmation that the USCIS got my AR-11 and I-865 (had to file those, since we are moving). How long does that take?

4) Move into our new house next week...better get packing!

5) Catch up on vj and then get some very-much needed sleep in between feedings and diaper changes....

Stay tuned for more updates...... :star:

Good luck Everyone, with your immigration journeys too!

Ant

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the congratulations and well wishes about Baby Aaron.....

So far things have been going well with the three of us...

But boy, has it been exhausting! (and very sleep deprived)

We're also in the midst of a move to our new house..and still have to unpack! Lol...I'm sure amongst all those boxes and belongings we'll find the stuff that we need for the new nursery...

As well, we don't have our phone or internet hooked up yet (I'm typing this at the library) and there is no cell phone coverage within a five mile radius where we are...Thank goodness we have the electric and propane and well water/septic system hooked up though, so at least the house is livable in that sense.

Oh and I also have to apply for citizenship..have to get the paperwork ready for that..But can't get that done...as still waiting for Aaron's birth certificate and SSN....uggh....Isn't 3 weeks long enough already? At this rate, I'll probably be hopefully filing for citizenship in September instead of August which I originally wanted to do...sigh....

Anyways, will keep you all updated as to what happens next...and will respond to more posts here later on...

Until then...enjoy the summer.....And enjoy the rest of your immigration journeys

Ant (and Aaron and D)
