Man I wish I could get a credit card. If I was to even think about appyling I think cops would jump out like step away from the application.

I just took over hosting this twice/month conference call with the team leads & supervisors (& a few managers) from my section, located all over the world.

This morning, I made sure the first speaker was ready & said "Rudy, you have the floor." Silence. I send him an instant message asking if he's ready (again) and he says yes. So back on the call, I'm like "Rudy, we're ready for your safety minute." Silence. I send him another instant message saying that we're waiting for him. He said that he was already talking. I was like.. huh?

Turns out that about 1/3 of the meeting participants (including Rudy) were in the wrong conference bridge "room." They were supposed to press additional numbers to get to the virtual room where the rest of us were.

What a way to start my new task.

I'm super excited because I FINALLY was about to get "free" round trip airfare to Montego Bay!

I'd been checking daily since finding out the interview date, HOPING the price of the flight would go down... but nope. It was stuck at $507 every single day. The other thing I hoped would happen was that my 20,000 bonus miles from the Continental MasterCard would go through in time for me to get a flight. Every day I checked it, but my # of miles hadn't changed. Until today! I was able to use the bonus miles & pay taxes/fees ($52) for next month's trip. That savings will come in VERY handy.

O.k. I was listening to my Steve Harvey show this morning and my girl Monique is on there talking bout her show that airs Sept 25. So I come to work to try and find out info on it because I want to see where it is tapping because I would like to be an audience guess or what ever. Well I found some pics she recently took at the hoodie awards and gosh darn it bat man the chic has lost weight. But I’m worried she looks like she lost weight through surgery and not by eating right and exercising. What I don’t get is Monique to me was a beautiful full figure girl She was flawless she always dresses nice and wasn’t she a spoke person for full figured woman? Now I can se her wanting to lose weight for health reasons or maybe she was just tired of being big but if your a spoke person for big girls all ova why wouldn’t you show them a healthy way to come done instead of doing surgery? Now I might be wrong maybe she dint get surgery but from this pic what do you all think??

Nat - great news on the ticket! I did get good news that JetBlue is flying direct from NYC to St Lucia starting in October! Just might snatch some tickets under $300!

Nah. I don't plan to use this card except to book flights on Continental.... or when I'm having issues with my Visa. I can't even TELL you how many times Chase locked my Visa card due to fraud suspicions after I made a top-up at Digicel or tried to buy minutes at Rebtel.

Regardless of which card I use, I make sure to pay it off each month so I never have to pay interest. During 8 years of having credit cards, I've paid interest once (after a month in Africa).

I thought I was the only one to go through having my card locked off after topping up using Digicel Online. it makes me SICK! So now, I will only top up using my Paypal debit card.

i couldnt even get insurance info from her and not too sure if the police did right away either, she is in their custody though and a family member came and got the child. I will get the police report tomorrow.

We'll if ur laws are the same there as here have your ins company get the report or else you'll have to pay for it. Here they dont give police reports for free so if we request one they charge us so we let our ins co get it and then get a copy from them.

Yes I am! Well I have Progressive Auto which is pretty good. They have my claim online and it says that I don't have to get the police report unless I want it for my records. They will get it for me. So now its the waiting game. The adjuster starts work at 10:00. Im going to give her until 10:15 and call. They also assist with the rental car. Im trying to go after her insurance company so they will pay for everything. I haven't even told Steve yet....*sigh*

Wow, hang in there. I used to have switchboard duty twice a month. Needless to say that sometimes when I had to connect the parties, I would lose one of them lol
