Hi guys! My SO wants to fill out the I-134 info with our co-sponsor this weekend and I just want to make sure I'm not going to be missing anything I need. Can any of you tell me if I am missing anything?

I-134 filled out by SO

3 years of back taxes

3 years of back W2's

(my fiance just lost his job and is in the process of trying to get a new one right away)

I-134 filled out by co-sponsor

3 years of back taxes

3 years of W2's

proof of co-sponsor's citizenship (he became a citizen of the U.S. at the age of 9)

(my future father-in-law is the director at a major hospital so i figured his back taxes will be enough evidence as to how much money he makes every year)

I keep thinking I am missing something but can't be sure....

Thanks guys!

Recent pay stubs (from the cosponsor--if your fiance just lost his job, that won't really be very relevant for him) and, if possible, a letter from the cosponsor's employer stating how long she has worked there, whether the job is permanent or not, and his salary.

You only list W-2's.

You will also need the corresponding 1040's to go with them. (Tax transcripts are the preferred method - they include everything). (or is that what you mean by "back taxes"?)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Yes by back taxes I mean the last 3 years transcripts and the W2's

The actual IRS transcripts? Or the 1040's? (these are normally referred to as the tax returns, not transcripts)

If you mean the IRS transcripts, you do not need to include the W-2's. (in fact, you may get an RFE since you didn't enclose the 1040's for some reason)

I have no idea if my fiance and future father in law have official IRS transcripts....i know they have their tax returns and W2's

Ok - ok :)

Your good to go. Returns + W-2's = evidence required.

Would it be preferable to have 3yrs IRS transcrips and 3 yrs of signed 1040's?

That shows both the detail of the basic form and acknowledgment by the IRS

that it was filed.
