Rescheduled fingerprint appointment at Denver Supporting Center

Hi,

I had to reschedule the fingerprint appointment to any available Saturday afternoon by checking off the box on the I-797 form and sent it to the address provided on the form which is at USCIS DENVER, 15037 E. COLFAX AVE, AURORA CO. I didn't write any letter explaining why I want to reschedule the appointment. Do you think it's OK?. I sent the reschedule form on 7/20/2009 (they received it on the 22th) and I haven't receive the new appointment notice yet. How long should I wait before contact them to see what is going on?

I think it really depends on how many people are applying using that ASC, so I can't give you a firm time estimate... I doubt USCIS would be able to either - sorry... I rescheduled Biometrics during AOS, and that added about a month to my timeframe... so I'm sorry I think you just have to be patient and wait on a new appointment from them. You don't have to send an explanation why you couldn't make it, so don't worry about that.

For fingerprinting hat's probably ok. However, if you find you have to reschedule your interview and/or Oath, you will have to explain why you cannot make the scheduled appointment time.
