Infopass experience

My circumstance is rare, but I decided to share my experience anyway...

My conditional GC was lost in the mail (I never saw it), so I filed for replacement.

Local USCIS office kept giving me 2 month stamps on account of expected arrival of replacement GC.

Replacement GC never arrived and then I filed I-751 and got the receipt.

This time at Infopass appointment I was able to get a stamp valid until my passport expiry date (less than 1 year), with a note "I-751 pending".

USCIS officer told me that filing I-751 stops processing of I-90 (request to replace lost GC).

CR-1 Timeline

March'07 NOA1 date, case transferred to CSC

June'07 NOA2 per USCIS website!

Waiver I-751 timeline

July'09 Check cashed.

Jan'10 10 year GC received.
