Interview Expedite Request

Supervisor Sue,

I am very disappointed in the NVC, please see below email string. I have sent in 2 request for an expedite and have been declined. From what we see below these requests that NVC claims have been forwarded to Montreal and been declined by Montreal never were actually sent. Can you please explain?

I had contacted NVC and requested and expedite for an earlier interview on June 22nd, 2009 never received a response to the initial request and I was just advised that i require to send another request, so I did. The second request came back advising that you; the embassy declined my request.

I understand that this is not a normal request, I would like to request an expedite of the interview process and interview so my kids would start school at the beginning of the school year for Arizona. I had purchased a home (**** Anthem AZ 85086) and closing date is August 14th, 2009 so the school that they will be attending is Anthem Elementary. For Athem Elementary In Arizona the school year starts August 17th, 2009. I would hope to get an interview date in August 2009 so they do not miss too much of the school year. If there is a cancellation list or something to be put on or the expedite is granted this would be wonderful. All four of the cases below are completed with NVC and are awaiting the interview.

I was advised to speak with the boarder guards to see if I can enroll them, I sent another request to Montreal asking if it would hurt my cases if I do so (no response yet) and also sent a request to Supervisor sue for the email declining the expedite request from Montreal.

Btw Montreal has been very responsive to my inquiries today. Have received 3 emails from them.

EK, here is our story with our expedite request...

Hubby sent an e-mail on July 20th to NVC after speaking to a NVC supervisor on where and to whom to address the request:

 PI Supervisor Sue Expedite Request
I am asking for an expedite request. My case is complete at NVC
There is a very serious shortage of medical doctors here where i live. 
It has taken me 3 years to get a primary care doctor for myself.
Most doctors will not talk to you. My wife is pregnant and is due in January.
My insurance plan will not cover her and she has school starting in September.
If I can get her back quickly there is a good chance that I can find a doctor, get insurance, 
and she can finish her degree before the baby is born. If not, I'll learn how to deliver a baby myself.
I'm including some photos and some documents as well as a class schedule below.
I appreciate your time reading this (even if the answer is no)

Then, on July 27th we received an e-mail from NVC with the expedite request answer:

Good Day,
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). All documentation necessary to complete 
the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative
of this case (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation
at the time of the interview. The NVC has expedite procedures for applicants/petitioners with life or death medical emergencies. 

If you wish to request a review for expedite, please submit medical documentation declaring a life or death medical emergency.
The request will be reviewed promptly.

...and then on July 29th we received another e-mail with an interview date scheduled for September 15th :dance:

I'm pretty sure it was not due to the expedite request as I noticed other ppl on VJ got interview appointments for September this past week as well. So, NVC was also scheduling interview dates last week of July

Some other folks on VJ (beneficiary from Bulgaria as well) rescheduled their interview from Aug 20th to Aug 10th That gives me some hope I'll be able to reschedule mine for an earlier Sept date

Anyway, wish you good luck with ur case and I hope everything will go smooth and faster with ur case and kids will be able to start school in AZ very soon

I have requested from Supervisor Sue to forward me the email response from Montreal Embassy... we'll see if I ever get that email.

YEs and no, received what looked like a generated repose stating the obvious... "We sent email request to Embassy and received an email stating it was declined" I hope me looking into the lack of communication between the 2 doesn't hinder the outcome.
