Once you filed a petition (I-129F), is it ok to go outside the country, while you are waiting for NOA2, provided that you have somebody to look after your mail. Any suggestion?

You can definatly leave the country, not an issue.

You can, the only thing to keep in mind if you are the USC is that you do need proof of support, a job, tax returns etc, and if you are planning on being out of the country for awhile and have no income, you will need to get a co-sponsor when you get back, or be able to use assets to meet the poverty level. This will be needed at the interview stage.

If you are just planning on a 2 week vacation or something with leave from work there shouldnt be an issues, the government doesn't really care if you go outside the country as long as you can reply to any info thats needed (incase you get an RFE) and provide the proper support documentation when the interview time comes.
