Hi all,

I sent for my police record a couple of weeks ago now, on the form in the documentation it says i will receive the record back within 40 days, is that 40 straight days ? or 40 working days.. so 40 days plus another 16 for the weekends.. making it 56 ?

Also when i send the checklist back to the embassy to let them know ive got everything they need, (ive had my medical etc..), how long is it usually from the sending of that paper to an interview date ?

Im fairly anxious to be finished now, i can see the line but it seems difficult to cross and always moves further ahead of me !!

Thanks for your help...

Russell

Hmmm. I don't know babout the police record and as for the interview date, there's no way we can give you any answer, since you didn't say where your fiance is from. Also, it'd be a good idea to fill out your timeline...

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
