Otay let me put it this way, The sponsor or co sponsor can sponsor as many immigrants as their gross income allows. i.e. I currently sponsor 3 immigrants and also almost had to sponsor my hubby's nephew had he needed it. As long as you have enough money to cover the poverty level for that amount og people you or the co sponsor can sponsor that many people. If the income allows they can sponsor a few more immigrants if they so chose.

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

if the person already sponsors 3 people the person has to make $22,887

for two more people 3+2 = 5 the person has to make $32,237

If the sponsor is a lawful permanent resident, they may petition for the following foreign national relatives to immigrate to the U.S.:

•Husband or wife, or

•Unmarried son or daughter of any age.

If the sponsor is a U.S. Citizen, they may petition for the following foreign national relatives to immigrate to the U.S:

•Husband or wife

•Unmarried child under 21 years of age

•Unmarried son or daughter over 21

•Married son or daughter of any age

•Brother or sister, if the sponsor is at least 21 years old, or

•Parent, if the sponsor is at least 21 years old.

All the information you need is on this website and these forums or on the USCIS website, its all very clear and outlined you just need to sit down and read it slowly.

You said soemthing about foodstamps and medicaid. If you are receiving those benifits they how and the heck can you even think of bringing a foriegner here? If you can afford this process then why are you taking away benifits from a needy family, that is enless you are defrauding the goverment, in which case they will catch you and then the piper will be paid. If your not receiving those benifits then disregard.
