Moving to a CR-1 and blowing up a K-1

Hi, I have been a member here for more than 1 year now. I just want to tell you that we are blowing up a K1 visa that I have stamped on my passport and moving to get marry and to apply for a CR-1, the main reason of this is because some financial responsabilities that I have here in my homeland with my mother. We are getting marry at the begining of Sept, and starting the whole process again.

I am writing this info here for asking to all of you advice on what to include in the package and on how to speed the whole process in general. I already read and printed the guides for the CR1 process and have them with me.

We are thinking about to include a letter with copies of the NOA1 and NOA2 of the K1, in order to let them know that my SO already has the FBI check name done and there is not doubt of our relationship.

More advice will be appreciated.:thumbs::star:

You will need to fully withdraw the K-1 before you file the I-130 and the entire process will need to be started again.

Good luck.

no way to speed up the process until after the I-130 is approved... then you might be able to speed NVC by a few weeks by following the shortcuts

YMMV

 If you are already here in the USA, can't you just get married, and follow through on your K1, then apply for advance parole to travel and be with your mother? I do not know how pertinent it is to be with her at this very second, but it could save another year's (at least) wait. However, you know the situation more than we could advise. Good luck, and I hope everything is ok with your mom

I am not in US, I am here in DR, travelling to US, getting marry and going back to DR for doing that I would need the Advance Parole and to wait there. I don´t have all this time of leave in my work.

I can´t resign my job either. It is not just to be with my mother, is a financial issue for supporting here. Thanks for your advise,

Thanks for the advise but I am already a member there.

My logic is that I am fully responsible for my mother and I can´t wait a permission for working in US with no job adjusting from a K1 visa. With the CR-1 I get the permission in 1-2 months when I get there.
