Noa2 expiring help...

hello, we received NOA2 the 23th of april, then packet 3 june, and Im just sending back now( I had troubles getting police records from the three countries I lived in after I turned 16) so my question ius does NOA 2 expires , I also red that it was 4months , what if it expires do we have to go through the whole process again? should I email the consulate? help pls Im lost

The expiration is on the NOA2. Yes - it will expire on that date, unless you contact the consulate and ask for more time. (the consulate will usually do this, sometimes on their own - but it's best to ensure they do.).

If it expires, and you didn't take any steps to prevent/extend it, then yes, you will probably have to do it all over again.

I would call the consulate, not email.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
