5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

Hi Scott, as you see we are the ones on that 2005 list after you. The Sailor one hasn't been active since December. Glad to see you have been to see your love.

I don't know anything about this FBI check process but wish you a speedy resolve. I have been really starting to suffer in the positive attitudes with the time it is taking for us too and still we hear nothing.

I was wondering when did you get the letter about the FBI name checks? Have you known about that for a while or is it new?

I got the letter 2 weeks after I call to inquire about the delay. So I got the standard "do not call us we'll call you" letter. So we are in Hell.....officially :angry: It was new news to me. Why us? Your guess is as goos as anyones.

Thanks Scott for filling me in. I have fears this is what is happening to our application as well. The new AILA updates Nebrasca is on the 3rd of January, our application was dated 5th December.

I was totally freaking out about all this for a couple of weeks and Aussiewench filled me into say these checks shouldn't take too long (no we have not heard anything though) , so hopefully now they have told you they, will get it finished soon and you will hear something.

I only wish Andrew could pop over to see me, but this is an impossibilty for us. He has his 13 year old son in his care and we are not too wealthy.

I'd say we more than many will be eagerly waiting for some good news from you. (F)

5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

Just took a peek at the timelines and there have been five NOA2s since April 1st! One who got their NOA1 at the end of December, one from the end of February (this is Keith & Xiang, who I believe had their petition expedited do to Keith being called up for active duty), and the other three are all NOA1s from near the end of January.

Keep hopeful, everyone: Nebraska is still moving :dance:
