Hey Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and would like your expertise on this question I got. I'm currently filing for my wife's visa with a service. On this site it says that its good to send my wife a tax return copy and a letter stating that I am currently working. I asked the person who was doing my paperwork and he says that it's not needed for me to send those things. So I was wondering is it better if I do send those items to my wife? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

You have to sent Tax return to NVC when you will be filing I-864 and your wife needs them on her interview date.

Did you receive your Notice of Action for Approval already?

The USCIS does not need your tax return.... the NVC does.

If you have not reached the NVC stage yet, then you don't need to send it in yet.

Hello, yes I did send them to the NVC now we're just waiting on a notice for the interview date. I'm just wondering if I do need to send another copy to her, I asked the guy who's doing the paperwork and he told me it's not necessary. Is it better to send her the copy?

Yes, send her a copy of what you already filed.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
