This is another thing that bothers me....How do i make the supplement for the question #18 of the I-129F??

What am i supposed to put in there? How does it supposed to look??? Should i type it and print it out as a simple text?

I cant find an example on the appearance of this declaration....

Please help me?!?

thank you

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

So the question #18 is just about when we two met? I dont need to put extra information about our relationship before that, like how it started and developed??? :) Great! At least it wont be an essay....

Thank you soooo much!

and Good luck to you too :)

We met online, so we mentioned that in the letter and talked about how we emailed and messenger'd for a while and then we decided to meet in person. I put the dates of the first contact online, the date we decided to meet in person, the place and the circumstances. I also mentioned that we went out to dinner that first weekend with some friends of mine and when he met my 3 children and when I met his one daughter. We finished off by saying we intended to marry as soon as we had the visa. It can be worded any way you like. We just did it as a word document, like a letter and then we both signed the bottom and dated it.

Good luck.

They want to know how/when you met IN PERSON not how your relationship started, they have the interview for that. I however wrote a bit more than that.

I wrote how I met my fiance (nothing long just 'online') the date, and then the dates when we met in person I also (like Raymaga) wrote some of the things we done within that time, I figured at my interview they would ask me about some of that stuff and it would strike up a conversation and it did.

29/06/2004 Met online

24/10/2004- Officially started dating!

-Various Trips Between the USA and Scotland-

25/12/2007- Steven Proposed, and gave me a lovely Ring!

29/02/2008- Sent I-129F to VSC

22/09/2008-1pm - Recieved Visa!

04/11/2008 -Steven comes back to Scotland for the Celebrations!

09/11/2008- We return home together!

23/01/2009- Wedding!!!

Your I-129f was approved in 108 days from your NOA1 date.

Preparing AOS Forms.

09/4/2009- Sent AOS

11/4/2009- Received and signed for

20/4/2009- Received NOA for AOS/EAD/AP (Dated April 17th)

20/4/2009- USCIS cashed check for $1010

People here tend to focus on what USCIS wants or cares about, which can differ from what your embassy or consulate cares about. Very closely read the reviews of your consulate; focus on the VERY WORST reviews of interview experiences, and pretend that the same will happen to you.

Write a detailed account (not a book, but more than a paragraph) that includes not only how/when you met in the last two years (to satisfy USCIS) but details that validate your relationship with your foreign partner (supported by the enclosure of the evidence that earlier posters have suggested).

The reason for doing this is that some consulates (maybe including yours, maybe not) kick the foreign fiance(e) out of the interview after a couple of minutes without accepting evidence that has been brought, with the claim of "not enough evidence of relationship." If I-129F petitions are front-loaded with an adequate amount of evidence, USCIS will have seen it before it goes to the consulate, and the consulate cannot therefore claim that the evidence doesn't exist.

For question #18, put "see continuation pages" and enclose a clearly labeled page or pages with the above information. You both don't need to sign it, but you (the petitioner) can.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
