My name is Tina. I have my invation coming and I know i need to file for a visa. Were do i go to file that online? I was told I can go to Chicago, ILL. to get my Visa. Is that were i need to go? I live in Indiana. What kind of paper will they need for my visa? What else after that do i need to do? I am scheduled to be there the end of September. What step are needed after i come back home? Any advise or help is needed. Thank you

I was told i have to get a visa to enter his country. Thats the visa i'm talking about

A visa is used to enter the US - you can not get a visa when you're already here.

I have the visa uploaded online checking it out. It ask the purpose of visit. Do i put to meet my fiance there? It also ask in case of transit and final destanation. What should this be?

I replied to your other thread, but to answer your question here. Your final destination will be your fiance's address. You will transit through another country, but you do not need a visa since you are a US citizen. For example you may transit through Paris, or Frankfurt. I answered "yes" to that question. I wanted to add that they want the visa application filled out in all Capital letters. Why, I dont know, but it say in the instructions to do this. Reason for visit: The first time I went I put "to visit a friend". The second time I went I wrote "to visit my fiance".
