Card production was ordered for my GC a week ago on the website.... but I just received an email today to say it was ordered today. Oi.

That happened to me too. It came in about 10 days after the first email.

Just checked the USCIS website to see if there were any updates on my applications and soooo happy to see that my I-765 and I-131 have been approved.

This is what it says for I-765:

On May 12, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. (how long does it really take)

And for I-131:

On May 12, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For the I-131, when it says mailed you notice, will I be getting the physical document that I can use to travel, or does that come after the notice? I reallly need to know, because I might book our honeymoon to the Bahamas sooon. Please let me know if what I am getting is the actual travel document or not?? and how long does it normally take to come.

Yeahh sooo excited to go on vacation... also about the work card (I guess I need to find a job now)

AOS/EAD/I-131:

NOA'S Received: March 19, 2010

RFE: March 25, 2010

Case transferred to CSC: April 19, 2010

I'm kind of worried about my EAD.

Most people get it in about 10-15 days, it's been about 18 since mine was approved and I havn't gotten it. No touches on it since the 28th.

Should I be making an infopass appointment about this on the 30th day? I mean, yeah I've been approved for my green card but I dont want it to have gotten lost and someone's trying to use it or something!

(Watch, it'll be in the mail tomorrow now that I said this )

I never got any emails, even though I was signed up for them. I just kept checking the site.

I got the approval notice in the mail more than 2 weeks ago.

Hasnt been touched since the 28th last month. Maybe they were smart enough to not produce it, haha.

Random update, but I haven't received any touches on my AP since April 7th, and with biometrics on April 30th I had a couple of touches after that on my EAD and AOS as expected, but nothing since May 4th now. Sigh. I figure I won't get anything for another 3 weeks or so. blah.

Ok so I'm going to complain now.

No offence to anyone, I am happy for everyone that's gotten their green card.

So... Where the frack is mine? Everyone here who did their AOS on or around the time I did has had an interview and been approved or was approved through CSC. Mine hasn't been touched since they transferred it to the CSC back at the beginning of March.

I was kinda hoping it would come while I was gone on my honeymoon as a nice wedding present... but nope, unless the person bringing in the mail stole it, but I doubt that.

12/31/2009 - Marriage

07/21/2010 - AOS approved

08/04/2010 - Green Card received (and it's actually green!)

05/30/2012 - Sent ROC packet to VSC

06/08/2012 - Received NOA1 for ROC (Dated 06/04/2012)

Same thing happened to me. I waited 5 months for mine to get approved while almost everyone else got theirs in like 4 months or less. It was annoying but it did come eventually. I had a very straight forward case, basically as straight forward as it could be.

Theres actually a lot of Feb filers who got transferred to CSC that haven't heard anything, while there are March filers who were already approved  I have no idea what the heck is up with USCIS anymore, I've given up guessing cuz none of it makes any sense. I hope you hear something soon!

Hey Guys,

I am mailing in the AOS packet this week. The only thing that is holding me up is the I-693 Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status. I don't see this on ya'll timelines. Did you not send it in? The guides say we have to send in the vaccination portion only? I don't mind transcribing his shot records, but do I have to hire a civil surgeon to do this AGAIN? We already did it for his K-1 Visa at the doctor in Toronto.

Also, does this list look complete? Did you guys mail in proof of your wedding (pictures), or is that just for the interview?

I sent mine with just the sheet they gave me extra from the medical in TO. I wasn't missing any vaccines so I just took the chance, was approved without it. They didn't even ask for it at the interview (though I got one done shortly before the interview just incase as some people had been asked for it).

I didn't send any proof, took that to my interview. I sent 2 passport photos per app (6 total), and 1 copy of each of the supporting for all 3 apps.
