Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

LOVE IT! So many bridesmaids/groomsman though! :lol:

That marriage will last, though. I love seeing people be able to laugh at themselves and just enjoy themselves. That's the beauty of it.

:lol: I love this!! I never get tired of watching it. I think these two have set the stage. Quite possible there will be others in the near future that will have they're own "unique" entrance. Tim and I are kinda going with the old fashioned way, but I'm hoping we'll get to practice a song to sing to each other as I come down the aisle.

Hubby thought it was utter blasphemy and the priest should have refused to marry them. He has not sense of humor about religion. :hehe:

I have been wanting to email my pastor that video to see what he thinks! He is pretty new just got out of bible college so probably has never seen anything like that before and am wondering if he would even allow it. I don't know him well enough to do it though, we just met him in April when we did premarital sessions. Not that we would ever do something like that, our families would be mortified, LOL.

I don't think it is blasphemy or inappropriate. My dad is an Episcopal Priest so I was raised in a very conservative "Catholic" type of protestant church.

The way I see it is cultures all over the world have various marriage ceremonies and rituals. A few decades ago it might have been scandalous for a bride to wear a low-cut or strapless gown in a church, or to have any modern music at all. How many weddings have a modern song during the unity candle lighting?

Even the hymns of the 1900s were once thought to be inappropriate. There are some churches that do not use music at all but only chant the psalms. Back in Jesus's time they had completely different musical instruments- harps and lyres. A piano would have been unhead of!

I enjoyed this video and I think that the entrance was fantastic. Who says everyone has to walk down the aisle to "Here Comes The Bride?"
