My fiance's father passed away about 20 years ago, do we need to list him on the G-325A?

What proof of relationship do you usually send in with the 129F? I've read things like contracts for wedding vendors but we don't have any signed yet, are pictures enough? I want to get this started on the right foot.

Even if a parent is deceased, they are still your parent so you would list them, yes.

As for evidence, I sent lots of photos together (dated on the back), plane ticket receipts, e-mail correpondence, etc. If you have an engagement ring receipt you can send that too. Also if you have phone bills with each other's number listed that's good evidence too

later on they will ask again for parent info when you are further into the process so he will have to list his parents again but on the form it asks for date of death and stuff if they are dead so it will be fine.

anything from pictures to airline itinerarys to photocopyed letters / envelopes / cards phone bills listing the number and length of time called to emails or msn convos any of that can be used as proof of relationship!

Great help thanks! I'm fairly certain the US gov't doesn't take the time to set aside personal effects to give back with all the people that apply for visas (or maybe they do), with that being said, making extra copies of photos no big deal, but can everything else i.e. cards/receipts/plane tickets that are on thermal paper and fading fast be photo copied? I understand they need proof of these things, but these are still personal items that are very important to us.

yep photocopy everything !! some you may want two copys of for when you file AOS cus they will ask again for much of it.

only send photocopys of them not the originals unless it specifically asks for the originals then make copys for yourself. most of the originals he would need for his interview anyways where they dont accept photocopys. just get copys of the pictures, thats what i did, got two sets of them myself just incase.

fogot to mention make a full copy of the I-129F package for him just incase, i have a copy im bringing to the interview may or may not need it but its also good incase something happens to it in the mail then you have a copy.
