I sent RFe back and they recived it on July 1st..got touched on the 5th and again today the 7th with the message saying they have recieved the RFE..my laywer called me and told me that he thinks evryone at CSC should have thier approval in about 3 weeks from when they got the RFE back..he says they are really trying to get caught up on the backlog of cases..i was really suprised when he told me really suprised when he told me that it could be only 3 more weeks to noa2..so I just thought id pass that along to you guys..he says just keep checking the uscis site for the updated approval notice yeaaaaa.

Thats pretty much the same thing I have heard. They want to get out of this hole they dug for themselves so they will work hard to get things going again.

I read this posted by an immigration lawyer:

The 10,000 I-129F petitions that were pulled seems to have been because of a mix-up on the government's part. Hopefully, they will have this backlog taken care of so that the processing times on the newly filed petitions go faster. It's very difficult to tell though how a prior backlog is going to effect future petitions. The good news is that USCIS is very committed to eliminating all backlogs.

Have heard from numerous sources that CSC has been ordered to move faster with their backlog. But when you see that they are just now handing out approvals for end of january, going to be a long wait before they get caught up. Even for those of us from the March time frame

just speculation but I think alot of the backlog was 1. waiting on imbra seeing whats happening. 2. about the time all the jan petitions should have been approved was when imbra happened 3. moving all the work for fiances to 2 locations during imbra.. all this smashing in together was not great, but if its gonna help speed it up in the future great.. I just hope they don't overload CSC because in the past they have been the center with the longest processing time and now they got Nebraskas and texas? wow..

Vartan I agree. Although anyone with NOA1 date prior to Mar 6 should have continued to move thru the system, When IMBRA came up end of May, CSC was still working on beginning of Jan. I just dont see how they are going to catch up anytime soon especially now when you add in Tex and Neb.

Maybe they were just trying to put out IMBRA fires they forgot business as usual.. normal business life hahah .. but you are right they shoudl have stayed on path .. but as we see they didn't yeah no offense to vermont people but the population should have been evenly distributed.. makes more sense to me
