NOA #2: Approval June 25th, 2009 - 92 days

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Thought personally, I wouldn't call anyone stupid just for asking a question, IMHO...

When I landed for my PR in Canada, they had a stencil box thingie to measure the photos to ensure your face fit correctly.

Some poster before you decided I as stupid! Oh well, it is the interweb after all...

I got mine done at Shopper's Drug mart, but i think I'll get a couple more done for the DS 230 and use the other two to scare people

away from my lunch in the work fridge!

2 x 2 is 5 cm x 5 cm right? my hubby and i got our passport pics taken before i left SYR and that was the size we got them...the dude we went to even asked us if we wanted the "american standard" and that is the size in cm's...hopefully theyre good to go...

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

I got mine done at shoppers drug mart too... just for general knowledge to anyone reading this... I would double check that they'll accept them if they were taken a while ago... I also got some extra passport photos done in April when we first got our package together, but then was told that the medical office in Toronto wants them to be done within 60 days or something so completely wasted $.

2 x 2 is 5 cm x 5 cm right? my hubby and i got our passport pics taken before i left SYR and that was the size we got them...the dude we went to even asked us if we wanted the "american standard" and that is the size in cm's...hopefully theyre good to go...

Gosh, I can't remember. But if he did the american standard I'm sure you're good to go.

Gosh, I can't remember. But if he did the american standard I'm sure you're good to go.

2 x 2 is the American standard, but more important is the size of your head in the photo - that's really what is different in all these photographs. My Husband had his done 5 times for his Australian passport - which he got last week :lol:
