Still waiting for the NOA2 here. I am usually a patient person but this is really getting old. The worst part is that Marina was approved on an I130 petition in May, so why is it taking so long for this?

Sorry for the rant.

Congrats to all that have been approved and good luck to those still waiting.

I love rants! I am the Queen of Ranting. Rant on! CSC has slowed after doing a bunch of approvals. I hope that means they are working on some of the 'harder' cases. Like June and July already!! Sheesh!!

Really pulling for you guys. Good luck!!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

OMG!! you never guessed what happened?! i sent in my rfe on november 7 in a certified return receipt mail. its been more than a week..

i was wondering how come i didnt received the return receipt yet.. so i called USCIS and they said they haven't received anything..

then i called my US postal office, i gave them my tracking number and they said, it hasnt been delivered until now.. they told me to call the destination post office to check it with them and they said they havent received or scanned anything.. :crying::crying:

so im going to the post office tomorrow to talk to the manager..

can i get a original copy of the RFE notice of action from the USCIS?

or can i send in photocopy of the RFE notice of action and have a letter from the postal service that it was lost?

please help! :help::help::help:

thanks!

OMG that's horrible! Have the tracking number ready when you call USCIS, because it sounds like you should let them know what is going on ASAP.

They might be able to give you a fax number (or email address) and instructions on how to get the information to the person working your case? It probably depends on what your RFE was in regards to.

Dont freak out ...... I would resubmit it but copy the RFE notice on whatever color paper USCIS sent to you.

This really svcks -- Sorry for you guys.

Very disappointing ..... well try to keep on the positive side - at least you know there is not something incorrect with what you submitted for the RFE rather than USCIS just has not received it yet.

Good Luck and keep us posted!!

You stated that the process is a bit sadistic, I would go much further than that and say it is against human rights. Previous to falling in love with a foreign national I had no idea of the plight. I am all for protecting our borders, but requiring solid upstanding to wait for 6 - 8 months is an absolute atrocity.

Best Regards,

Michael & Michelli

Anyone else have major events coming up???

I am leaving tomorrow night for Manila, so I can be there for Ann Marie's Medical next Monday & Tuesday, and then we have the Interview on Dec 3. If all goes well I will wait, and bring her to the US on Dec 26, so we can have Christmas with her family and then New Years with mine.

Congrats to LoveWaits too. I expect good news by the end of the day!

As for our case, I called DOS and they said Dave was approved for an interview. London has not yet scheduled one. And may not for another month, because that's just how they are!! Grrr to busy embassies.

Hi Everyone!!!!

I have been having my own pitty party for the past couple of weeks that I have not taken the time to tell my fav group how excited and happy I am about all the updates. I do read them all ...and I learn from them and I get excited and optimistic for all of you. I'm thrilled really. And we should all be celebrating bc today we have the first person who is officially getting a visa today! That's so fantastic!!!

So, I'm still here ....just disappointed and wishing I was with you all to share the same journey ...but I'm sure I'll be there soon and can't wait to tell you all about it. I'm not kidding - but you all will be the first to find out about my NOA2 (before my Fiance!) hahahaha

Wish you all the best ...and make sure you share the interview stories with us :)
