Not sure what to do about Damo moving. Its funny I was going to change his info tomorrow, at USCIS but since we got the noa2 on saturday, I dont know who to call or anything. Do I call NVC? or the Consulate? Stressing...... :girlwerewolf2xn: ......... grrrrr.

Jules, I'm sorry your feeling stress :( Especially after such great news, but I also realize we aren't done...which calls for another sad face :(

I had a similar question though. My fiance just moved into a condo he's been in the process of buying for the last four years. The builders finally finished it and he was able to move in this weekend. His previous address was his parents, which is what we listed on our forms. Can we leave the address as it is because he'll still get the mail? Or is it more a matter of where they currently reside? Hopefully we don't need to change his address because the mailboxes in his complex are still incomplete. Why can't things just be more seamless? Oh well...it would be life I suppose.

Goodluck finding the answer to your quesion though. If I could provide any insight that might ease your mind, I certainly would.

So.... I'm thinking Bachelorette Party in Vegas in December maybe. My sister and a few friends are definitely excited to go!! I bought a shirt that said "Buy me a shot I'm tying the knot." If anyone wants to meet up just let me know. I will have a Tshirt waiting for you as well. :luv:

BTW, Men of Olympic Gardens - definitely on the list of things I want to see before I get married:D

Also, if anyone wants to meet up for a more conservative Vegas party in July 2010 let me know. We can start planning for that too. :D

Vegas huh? It's close...major bonus :) I never really entertained the idea of a list of things before I'm married. I guess I got too wrapped up in the technicals of the paperwork and waiting to have some fun with this process. My fiance is a huge fan of Vegas and asked if he could reserve the right to have his bachelor party after we're married. He wants to go to Vegas too, but knows we'll be kind of tight financially for a bit. I would love to be a fly on the wall with him and his friends in Vegas...I'm know they'll have a blast! I'm sure you will too! Enjoy Men of Olympic Gardens :) Sounds fantastic! Thanks for the reminder to enjoy our time. We'll all get what we want before we know it, and we'll be able to look back on these experiences as a tiny blip of time in our lives.

Goodnight July. Wishing everyone sweet and peaceful dreams...and a very productive gov't week!

Ok - so if we can't do the PRE-PARTY - We really should all aim for the AFTER-PARTY NO????

JULY 2010!! How wonderful would that be - A year after getting our NOA1! We celebrate Vegas style.

I'm in!

Why don't you call NVC and ask them - if Not contact Consulate via email and ask them?

If it was me - I would wait until it got to the consulate and then notify the consulate. Only bc I know that once it arrives in the consulate's office - that's it - that's the final destination up until the interview.

But really, I don't know about specifics such as your situation -but that's probably what I would do.

Just getting myself ready!

...it was in my regular inbox.

I would probably have asked the same question if I was in your shoes.

So, packet 3 was available on the website and I told my fiance to have everything ready by next week. He already has most everything ready accept the PCC which he was going to get the most recent one. He needs to print out two documents and mail it out to the consulate and then they will give him an appointment letter and then he can take the medical.

Now I have to ask my boss for my employment letter and we are super busy right now. I will ask her by Wednesday so I can have it by Friday. I am not sure if I will be able to make a trip to India to be with him during the interview because I don't have much time off, and financially not able to do so. It's not completely ruled out yet, but I am going to try my level best to be there.

I think most consulates have the information available for packet 3 on the websites. So, go and check out your consulates website. I think it takes a few days to reach NVC and then another 4 to 5 days to reach the consulate. It really depends on how fast NVC sends it out, and you don't get stuck in AP.

Hi guys,

it's monday and another chance of seeing more approvals. I got such a got feeling about this week and I can't wait to see updates with NOA2s in them! I'm happy CSC is moving again, they approved quite the bunch since the new month started and I really hope that sets the trend for the rest of october as well :D

Wade and I are so busy right now with preparing all the documents for the interview (I feel and understand your stress, Jules!) I got an e-mail from the immigration doctor this morning, telling me he can come to my city this wednesday (2 days!!) for my medical. Suddenly I'm anxious and stressed out about this instead.. boy, when will we ever relax? I'm so happy with this doctor and I can't believe he is willing to do my check up here. It saves me both from financial and practical stress seeing how the immigration clinic is on the other side of the country. My head has gone from waiting for and anticipating the NOA2 to thinking of the police rapport, pass port, vaccinations, getting my international drivers license updated, having the rabies shots for my dog done +++ and all of you guys are next in line.. from one kind of stress to the other! :jest:

Ohhh c'mon CSC with the approvals! Time for positive thoughts! And as Jewelx just said, I (L) our little group and all of you guys ^^ (seeing how I am on a diet for my wedding dress, I will leave the chocolate be! xD)

07.15.09 - Received NOA1

10.02.09 - Received NOA2 - So exciting!!

10.07.09 - Medical approved!

10.16.09 - Case left NVC

10.19.09 - Case delivered at consulate

10.21.09 - Package 3 received!

11.04.09 - Package 3 sent

11.25.09 - Interview APPROVED!

12.03.09 - Visa on hand!!

12.28.09 - POE in Seattle

Good Morning everyone!!! I stayed up way to late last night talking to Damo, hehe. He is going to set up his medical today. This is the only part he has been dreading about the whole process, lol. Why do men hate doctors so much? Luckily the doctor that does them is only 10 mins from his new place which is really cool. I completely forgot about the international drivers license part. ugh  thanks for the reminder on that Kristin. Our original plan was for me to go over for the interview, then take an extended vacation to spend time with him for 2 weeks after the first of the year to bring him back with me. But I think, I'm just going to go over for the interview, and then meet him in either LA or San francisco whichever is his poe, and we have a mini vacation there for a few days. Get sweety time before he is tackled by my 3 small children. My kids are 9,8 and 4, so their excitement about the approval is amazing. And ofcourse my exhusband is exstatic because it got approved, means I wont have to go over to do the k3 (that was the backup plan). Being a single mom, I dont make the minimum requirements for this year. My photography business doesnt show on last years tax returns, so my mom is co sponsoring us. yay!

Looking forward to seeing all the updates this week!!!!!! Love you too Jewel! Dont worry about your chocolate, dont eat it very much, unless its in Brownie form. :luv:

Morning to you too, Jules! I hope you slept peacefully after talking to Damo (L) In this case I can actuallly relate to how he feels about the medical, I am not too excited about it. I'm the kind who only goes to the doctor if a limb is about to fall off, LOL! Both Damo and I have to take our tests all over again, even though we have international drivers licenses, but at least with them we will be able to drive for a little while before WA demands us to have new ones. I wish Wade could be with me for my interview, like you will be there for Damo's but due to his schedule in the US it won't work out very well. However there is a slight chance he'll be able to travel with me once I get my visa - we're still trying to figure out if this will work out for us or not (and as always it depends on finances and schedules, agh!) I can see why it will be nice for the two of you to have a little time to yourself before you bring everyone together. I can only picture the excited faces of your children, I bet they look real cute :star:

Anyway, I am off to pick up my place here so take care everyone and lets keep our fingers crossed for more NOA2s!
