Bank statements question

Good grief, this post has turned oddly hostile!

I'm not filing an I-130 (did that ages ago). I'm filing an N-400 (naturalization) and I think that I will go with Joanne's advice and include a few from each year.

Thank you :)

I was surprised too, but I think several of us were just misunderstanding each other. What I meant was that the most recent information seems to me the most relevant. I read posts here all the time about folks providing volumes of data that isn't really needed, and was suggesting that a thorough history probably would be overkill.

We sent two statements per year, but I think you could send fewer and be fine... It's more important what you bring to the actual interview, because that's when they really look at the evidence closely and they want to see evidence covering the entire three years of marriage - somebody was recently told at her interview that she should have brought more evidence from the first year of her marriage.

JOURNEY HIGHLIGHTS

04/23/05: Sent fiance petition (I-129F) to VSC

10/26/05: K-1 visa in hand

02/17/06: Flight to U.S. - POE Anchorage

03/01/06: We got married!!

03/04/06: Applied for Adjustment of Status

07/31/06: Received 2-Year Green Card in the mail

04/08/08: Sent application for Removal of Conditions to VSC

03/20/09: Received 10-year Green Card in the mail

04/11/09: Mailed N-400 application to Lewisville, TX Lockbox

08/18/09: Citizenship interview in Garden City, NY

08/27/09: Sworn in as a U.S. Citizen in Brooklyn Court House

Hmm...I'll keep this in mind. I was just going to concentrate on the most recent stuff, but I'll take some evidence from each year to be on the safe side.

Good idea to bring in your latest bank statements into the interview, just in case, is a requirement for three years of tax returns, we brought in four, IO only wanted three, go figure. Checking accounts normally have the lastest statement, CD's, and savings account are more like rolling statements, so you are covered way back.
