O.P. just be ready for your flight and for your mother-inlaw and sisters -inlaw to be. don't worry the SNN you can have it after married him. I wish you're inlove with him, I hope he is inlove with you too.

it also came to mah mind but i didnt want to think yonder

You even seconded LOTUS of what she thinks. What are you trying to imply with your sentences above? I am never a mean person Nora but how it would you explain that sentence to her it doesn't give me a good impression. I know the people's IDs here and I know whose mean and not, kinakampihan ko rin lang yung taong medyo inaapi although minsan din di ko maiwasan mairita pag sobra na rin. I hope this should be stop na, and please blaming me na ako nag umpisa or anybody, I just want everybody TO BE NICE IN THEIR REPLY.

ZIP FOREVER NA TALAGA........ B) ;)(L) PEACE

SSN is one important item that everyone should be concern about. This should be prioritized.

Without SSN, you can't have health insurance, life insurance, bank account, driving license. Health insurance, life insurance, joint bank account are evidences for the AOS.

There is nothing wrong being excited with SSN.

true! let's avoid prejudice against our fellow vj-ers. and in the case i might get misintrepreted, here's a definition from dictionary.com

prejudice

–noun

1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.

2. any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.

3. unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, esp. of a hostile nature, regarding a racial, religious, or national group.

4. such attitudes considered collectively: The war against prejudice is never-ending.

5. damage or injury; detriment: a law that operated to the prejudice of the majority.

–verb (used with object)

6. to affect with a prejudice, either favorable or unfavorable: His honesty and sincerity prejudiced us in his favor.

—Idiom

7. without prejudice, Law. without dismissing, damaging, or otherwise affecting a legal interest or demand.

i hope you get this one.

hello hello!!!! :D

i want to know what i have to do when i get to us coz i dont have any idea about this!!!!i hear about SSN?

but i dont have any idea about it!! and i will be needing lots of help coz i will be going to US by july 14.. and i hope you can give me more information in whats the first thing to do..!!! :help:

 i will be sure happy to know and to receive lots of replies for this!!!!

:help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

Phopho... the question is what do you want to do when you get to the US? I would suggest that you read the other forum here in VJ.. The adjustment of status forum would help you a lot.

Getting married, applying for SS and AOS are the normal path that you have to go to.

Try to google for wedding in the US, go to social security website to get better understanding and read the AOS forum to have better idea for your adjustment of status.

The next item you have to think about is how to keep your sanity once you get to the US, how to prevent boredom, how to move forward with your career, how to establish independence in the US.

I will go back to my question "what do you want to do in the US?". Once you are able to answer it.. then you could plan out your activities.

the first thing i want to do when i get there is to be with my fiance and plan for our marriage and for our future life..

thanks for the post im soo happy for the replies

Nobody telling her negatives, all gave her a good wish...negative is only you, in your mind. :bonk:

The posts below have negative undertones in it:

She seems more excited to get her SNN than seeing her husband to be.

Worried” would have been the more appropriate word to use. I am sure that like the OP, when we all decided to move to the US, we all were worried about the next steps to be taken, especially the SSN since we've heard a lot of horror stories about it.

x x x I wish you're inlove with him, I hope he is inlove with you too.

We don’t know the couple and I don’t understand why you’d say that you “wish that they are in love with each other” as if they are in some kind of questionable relationship.

To the OP, please come back to your thread. You can request a moderator to make some of the posts invisible if you find them offensive.

They love to pick on the original poster. They feel good when the OP is pissed off. Sucker!

thanks alot to you my friend for posting this.:thumbs: .yeah i agree with what you are saying..plz dont judge coz you dont know me.. all of as are excited to be with the person that we love the most..and im just asking for information's for me to be more aware..its not that SSN is more informant for me..but its the information that i can gather for me to have more knowledge about things...but i thank all of you for posting even if its positive or negative :innocent:

and also try to refrain other's grammars...yuck.that's so embarrassing when our own sentence composition is not good either

Ano kaya ibig sabihin niya ng " also try to refrain other's grammars... yuck" ? :star:
